rs-forever's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainy Woods This week has been so hectic so far. I had to meet my advisor about a thesis update. I worked and worked on it. Ryan's chip fabrication has been delayed. So he is trying to straighten out a few things in it. We both have been truly-grad-students. But somewhere along we found the time to go for a walk in the woods on a wet, rainy day. We had ponchos saved from our camping sprees last summer. Mine was all transparent and Ryan's was white with WPI written on it. WPI does not stand for Worcester Polytechnic Institute! But it stands for Weather Protection Something. They are really like oversized garbage bags, but served their purpose well. We walked hand in hand through the woods all the way to the railway tracks. Then we walked on the railway tracks to the little pool of water we often go to. Everything was so fresh, so clean, so new. It was lovely. There is nothing half as nice as tight hugs in the middle of the woods when it is rainy and cold all around you. Nothing as romantic. Maybe, lying on the snow together is comparable :) I am so lucky to have found my soulmate :) So So lucky and that feeling never fades! Oh, Alodeep's potluck party got canceled because he had to play cricket this weekend.
