rs-forever's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ponyo We celebrated Ryan's birthday with his family over the weekend. Then while we were driving back home, we stopped by at a little pond to swim. It was beautiful. Clear water, tall evergreens around it, a perfect blue sky with pretty white clouds, all reflecting in the water. We swam there for a while and sat on these docks that were suspended in the middle of the pond. The life guard said there was a huge turtle in the far end of the pool, so they don't let people go there. I wish we could have seen it, it sounded really big. But I am happy we weren't bitten, it was a snapper! On our way out, when we were at the shallow end of the pond, we met a fish which had the spirit of Kitty in it. It was tiny, about the size of my palm, all translucent, and had huge dots on it's sides which were like pretend-eyes, to make it look bigger. When we put our hand in, it let us pet it and then violently attacked and bit Ryan's fingers (as hard as a little fish can bite). We played with it for a while, then we thought maybe it had eggs or food it was trying to protect?
